As the human species progresses, populations increase exponentially worldwide and the Earth seemingly shrinks day-by-day as the hand of man creeps into every nook and cranny. Nature has always taken a backseat to humanity’s quest to survive and thrive, unfortunately not without consequences for both.
From the snow covered glaciers of Iceland to the nebulous cave ceilings of central Vietnam, the photographer attempts to experience the natural world while travelling on a shoestring, in a society where all work and no play is fast becoming a staple of modern life. Portfolio 1 is a collection of photographs chosen to inspire those with a passion for exploration.
