Marie Greene, Dialectics and Dreams

The exhibited photography is a diverse collection of favourite subjects and best work to date. People and portraits, landscapes and photo-manipulations, come together to highlight Greene’s view of the world and the visual stories she wishes to communicate.

Marie is originally from Cork but recently lived for three years in the United States. Some of her featured work depicts aspects of the East Coast, where she spent most of her time. She found this particular trip  an incredible influence on her photography and very inspiring.

Since coming back to Ireland a year ago, Marie moved to Dublin city, which has really influenced her latest work. It is only natural then, that the exhibition also focuses on Dublin, for its distinctiveness, beauty and rich history.
